SAOGE was launched in November 2008 as the premier event for the Oil & Gas Industry in Saudi Arabia. It was established to meet the requirement for the largest oil producing country in the world to host its own focused oil and gas show a service, which it continues to deliver to the industry.

The 6th edition of the Saudi Arabia International Oil & Gas Exhibition (SAOGE 2022) was held on November 24-26, 2014 at the Dhahran International Exhibition Center in Dammam.
Leading the Official Inauguration and Tour of the SAOGE 2022 Exhibition, was His Royal Highness Prince Saud Bin Naif Bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Eastern Province, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia who officially opened the exhibition.
