The Middle East Film and Comic Con (MEFCC), is the region’s biggest pop culture convention attracting over 60,000 fans last year. It features everything from film, TV, science fiction, animation, manga, comics, collectibles and much more.
Amidst all the action and excitement at MEFCC, visitors have the chance to meet their favourite TV and film celebrities up close. Budding artists and film makers can make the most of the many workshops on offer, learning directly from industry professionals related to animation, game development, acting, voice acting, VFX make-up, storyboarding and scriptwriting.
Last year, fans were treated to an amazing line up of international celebrity guests including Christopher Lloyd, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Randy Orton, Summer Glau, Nick Frost and International artists including Fabian Nicieza and Kevin Eastman (co-creators of Deadpool and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles respectively). There were also some amazing displays and exhibits from Marvel, Paramount, Nickelodeon, WWE, PlayStation, EA Sports, Samsung, IMG & Meraas amongst many others.
This year, the Cine Club will be back again with exclusive trailers and classic genre films as well as Q & A sessions with international celebrities.
Expect exiting games, the best bands, crazy competitions and the world famous Cosplay Competition judged by celebrity Cosplayers at Comic Con 2023.
